Eric von Hansen

Eric Von Hansen is the Executive Regional Chef at Caliente Pizza and Draft House Pittsburgh, PA. Born and raised in the Steel City, he studied Culinary Arts at Allegheny County Community College. He has 24 years of fine dining experience in a number of genres including training in French, Italian, and German cuisines. His fine dining background has inspired his awarding winning pizzas with ingredients including duck breast, hanger steak, and wagu beef. A novice to pizza making, Eric has taken home top prizes in each of his first three years at the Pizza Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and Sunday dinners with his family.
