Flyers Pizza & Subs is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with community open houses, restaurant renovations, store expansions across Central Ohio — and a KEYNOTE ADDRESS at Pizza Expo Columbus!
Founded in 1976 by Wayne Ulrey after acquiring a pizzeria located in West Jefferson, Ohio, Flyers remained a family-operated business until 2016, when it became a 100% employee-owned company, offering qualifying employees an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Flyers believes its ESOP is more than a benefit program — it is a strategic differentiator.
In this keynote, members of the Ulrey family — Mark, Scott and Steve — will go into detail about the pizza company’s founding and growth throughout Ohio. They’ll share the lessons they’ve learned over 50 years of operations in a session you won’t want to miss.
