FounderPhilosophy of Pie ConceptsRocky Shanower is the founder of Park Street Pizza located in his hometown of Sugarcreek, Ohio which he started at 22 years old. In 2020, Rocky was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Pizza Today. In 2023, Rocky was inducted as a team member into the World Pizza Champions, a prestigious group of industry leaders from around the world that seek to educate and elevate the pizza industry. Today Rocky oversees 3 unique pizza concepts that he and his partner Courtney Shanower created from scratch, Park Street Pizza, Dola Jean’s, and Bahler Street across Ohio and Texas. The most rewarding and fulfilling days are the days that Rocky is in the restaurant working alongside his two teenage sons, Rigsby and Wilde, and connecting with all of the loyal and faithful guests. “While the food can get the spotlight, the connection and the hospitality that a restaurant creates will always be at the center of what makes all the hardwork meaningful."
